News-press.com recently posted a story about changes being made to Florida’s specialty license plate program. It goes into detail about actions being taken to cut costs and to phase out some of the less popular plates, but included is a list of new plates proposed to enter circulation.
In this list are three of Florida’s four professional soccer teams, Armada FC, the Rowdies, and OCSC (those poor Strikers). The OCSC proposal is fairly obvious, but kudos to the state senator who thought to add the Armada and the Rowdies.
The bill requires new plates to reach a pre-sale number of 4,000 within two years to be put into circulation, which is totally doable. I know of at least one person (me) who would buy this.
If you’re wondering what a potential Armada FC license plate would look like, the always on point @madebytim (designer of the Flagship Footy logo) sent this mockup in.
