We talked about the possible deal with ESPN3 (news of it was first broken by empireofsoccer.com) on the most recent episode of the Armada Breakfast Club Podcast and about how beneficial it would be for the league as a whole.
The league has just announced that they’ve come to an agreement with ESPN to broadcast no fewer than 120 league matches on the company’s internet streaming channel, ESPN 3. ESPN 3 will show every home match for eight clubs, the three remaining being the Cosmos, FC Edmonton, and Ottawa Fury FC, who each have previously reached separate agreements to stream their home matches.
While the Armada have an excellent deal with The CW, this allows out of market fans to see games, and we’ll also be able to see mid-week away games live now.
