Jemal Johnson and Alhassane Keita both ran rampant against FC Edmonton in week one, and have earned places in NASL’s Team of the Week as a result.
Both made the score sheet, as well. Jemal Johnson’s goal twelve seconds into the match set the modern NASL record for fastest goal from kickoff, while Alhassane Keita’s goal just before halftime proved to be the game-winning goal.
Johnson and Keita were both very dangerous on the field Saturday (Keita probably more so) and this is a great recognition for the two men who lead the Armada to a dominant win in their first ever league match.
Hopefully, they can continue the stellar play against the Strikers and avenge that 5-0 preseason loss.
