News bites are few and far between with the club these days, but we got a little morsel of information today when the University of North Florida released their men’s soccer team’s pre-season schedule. The Armada will be playing at Hodges Stadium (UNF Campus) at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 8.
UNF is an almost-top-tier D1 program in the NCAA and – along with local rivals JU – have played the club in previous pre-seasons.
The horrendous mid-morning kickoff means attendance will be a tough ask of most supporters. Of course, this is just a late-spring scrimmage against a local D1 soccer team, so the game is more for the college players to get some game time against professional competition. The Armada will have several other pre-season games (hopefully) for the supporters to attend.
More news from the club, regarding pretty much anything you can think of, is forthcoming from the club. Maybe. Probably. We’ll see.
